Strawberry Recording Studios

This is a not-for-profit website celebrating the history of Strawberry Recording Studios, Stockport, 1967 - 1993.

Strawberry Studios South was built in Dorking, Surrey by 10cc as they could no longer find any time to record in their own Strawberry North studio because of its success. Although the original 10cc did visit Strawberry South when it was ready, by the time of recording their fifth album the band had split in half, with Godley and Creme leaving to develop their Gizmo. Stewart and Gouldman kept the name going and recorded the next four 10cc albums in Dorking.
